Serving Elkhart County for Over 40 Years

Myers Implement was started in the late 60’s by Kenneth and Karen Myers. Ken worked in a factory in town and was tired of going to a job he did not like so well. Karen also worked in town and wanted to be home with her kids. Ken also farmed and had cattle and enjoyed the machinery part of farming. Ken bought a tractor set it out front of his home along State Road 19, Holiday Rambler came along and bought it. He thought now this is something I may like to do everyday. Ken started purchasing tractors and implements whenever was possible. He had found something he loved to do. In 1986 Myers Implement became incorporated. In 2002 Ken was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. He fought that fight for 2 years, Ken passed away June 8, 2004. Ken and Karen have three children Kathy Braid, Kent Myers, and Karla Handrich.

Kent started working at Myers Implement at a young age. He drove semi and worked in the shop for his dad until Ken got sick. Kent then started to be in the office and taking care of day to day tasks.
